I'm totally with you on that starting the day in prayer thing. It's really amazing how calming it is. And how it returns throughout the day. Sometimes without realizing it I find myself saying, "Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner." It's somehow very reassuring to know that when my mind is not focused on a specific task being done it returns to prayer. It's a habit I never want to quit!
